These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and purchase of our luxury fashion products. By accessing our website or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use this service.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our service, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use this website or place an order. By using this service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Contracts entered into by persons below 18 years of age are void under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
2. Products and Services
Manèkin specializes in luxury silk suits and premium fashion garments for women entrepreneurs. All products are crafted with the highest quality materials and attention to detail.
Product Descriptions
- We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and imagery
- Colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings and lighting
- Actual product may differ slightly from photographs
- We reserve the right to modify product specifications without notice
Custom Orders
Many of our pieces are made-to-order. Custom orders typically take 6–21 working days to complete and are subject to different return policies as outlined below.
3. Ordering and Payment
Order Acceptance
- All orders are subject to acceptance and availability
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order
- Order confirmation does not guarantee product availability
- We may contact you to confirm order details
Pricing and Payment
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. A GST invoice will be issued for every purchase.
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- Payment is required at the time of purchase
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods
- International customers may be subject to additional fees
4. Shipping and Delivery
Domestic Shipping (India)
- Free shipping on all orders delivered within India
- All taxes and duties are included in the listed price
- Transit time: 2–3 working days after dispatch
- Express delivery available in select cities
International Shipping
- Delivery charges calculated at checkout based on destination and product size
- Customs duties and local taxes are the customer's responsibility
- Delivery times vary by destination (5–15 business days)
- Import restrictions may apply to certain countries
Processing Time
Made-to-order pieces require 6–21 working days for production before shipping. Ready-to-ship items are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days.
Lost or Undelivered Shipments
Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the shipping carrier for international orders. For domestic (India) orders, we bear responsibility until the product is delivered to you. If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us at support@manekin.in and we will investigate with the carrier.
5. Returns and Exchanges
Return Policy
- Ready-to-ship items: 7-day return window from the date of delivery
- Items must be unworn, unaltered, and in original condition
- Original tags and packaging must be intact
- Custom/made-to-order items are non-returnable unless defective
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or incorrect
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges allowed within 7 days for ready-to-ship items
- Subject to availability in requested size/color
- One exchange per item
- Size adjustments may be available for custom orders
Refund Process
Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item, and issued to the original payment method. Please allow an additional 5–10 business days for your bank or card issuer to credit the amount.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or materially mis-described item, you may raise a claim at any time within a reasonable period of discovering the defect. We will cover all return shipping costs and provide a full refund or replacement at no cost to you, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The content on this website, including designs, text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Studio Manekin Private Limited and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works
- Unauthorized use of our designs or content is prohibited
- All trademarks and brand names are proprietary to Studio Manekin Private Limited
- Customer photos and reviews may be used for marketing with your permission
7. User Conduct and Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to violate any applicable laws
- To transmit harmful or malicious content
- To impersonate others or provide false information
- To interfere with or disrupt our services
- For commercial purposes without our written consent
- To collect user information without permission
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Studio Manekin Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from these terms or your use of our service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Dispute Resolution
- We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication first
- Unresolved complaints may be escalated to our Grievance Officer (see below)
- You may also approach the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or file a complaint at consumerhelpline.gov.in
- Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction
10. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We recommend reviewing these terms periodically. If you disagree with any changes, you must discontinue use of our service.
